Gov Sule Joins Faithful in Gudi for Eid Prayers, Calls for Unity and Responsible Parenting

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule
, on March 20, 2026, participated in the Eid-el-Fitr prayers alongside Muslim faithful in Gudi, Akwanga Local Government Area, marking the end of the Ramadan fast.
He was joined by the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Muhammed Adamu Oyanki, the Akwanga LGA Chairman and ALGON Chairperson, Safiyanu Isa Andaha, as well as top government officials, security chiefs, and other stakeholders.


Delivering the Eid sermon, Islamic scholar Suleiman Mohammed Barde emphasized the importance of proper child upbringing, urging parents to instill moral values and discipline in their children as a pathway to earning Allah’s blessings.
The two raka’at prayers were led by Idris Mohammed, with worshippers gathering in large numbers to celebrate the festival in an atmosphere of peace and devotion.
The Governor’s presence underscored the significance of the occasion and reinforced calls for unity, moral responsibility, and continued peaceful coexistence across the state.
