The legislative Arm of Etsako East Local Government of Edo State has endorsed governor Godwin Obaseki for second term
This endorsement followed a motion moved by Hon. Ajanaku Alexander, councillor representing ward 6 and the majority leader of the house and seconded by Hon. Rosemary Sado Obalo, councillor representing ward 7
According to Hon. Alexander, governor Godwin Obaseki has done well in the area of education, health, culture and tourism, youths and women empowerment , he prayed the house to support the motion
According to the majority leader "You will agree with me that his excellency governor Godwin Obaseki has done a lot in the area of youths and women empowerments. Also, Godwin Obaseki has done very well in improving the infrastructures of the state which has led to the industrialization of the state."
He further harps that his excellency governor Godwin Obaseki has also done very well in promoting culture and tourism in the state. He noted that governor Obaseki's contributions manifested recently during the last National festival for Art and Culture (Nafest) in Benin.
While seconding the motion, hon. Rosemary noted that the project of the governor and his deputy are spread across the state for everyone to see. She equally urged the house to support the motion ably moved by the majority leader.
The motion was unanimously adopted by the ten councillors thereafter endorsed governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy for second term come 2020.
The deputy leader who presided over the day proceedings directed the clerk to immediately communicate the resolutions to the governor , his deputy and the local government chairman.
