The Association of Proprietors of Private Media Establishment of Nigeria (APPMEN), in strategic partnership with 7AI, is set to launch a groundbreaking Money Recovery Clinic aimed at helping Nigerian content creators and media owners recover revenues owed by major global digital platforms.
The clinic, which will form a major component of the ASO APPMEN–Content Creators 2026 1-Day Conference, is designed to provide creators with practical strategies for tracking, documenting, claiming and recovering outstanding payments from platforms including Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, among other digital service providers.
With the creator economy generating massive traffic and engagement from Nigeria, APPMEN said too many creators continue to lose legitimate earnings because of demonetisation, policy violations, documentation errors and difficulties accessing effective platform support.
The conference will focus on the theme: “Practical Steps to Recover Monies Currently Outstanding, or Services Not Paid for, by Key Global Platforms.”
APPMEN National Coordinator, Chief Precious Enebuse, said the partnership represents a deliberate shift from complaints to concrete solutions for creators.
“We are moving from complaints to solutions. Creators deserve transparency, and they deserve to be paid for the value they create,” Enebuse said.
A major highlight of the event will be the appearance of Dr Kayode Femi, who will headline the Money Recovery Clinic and provide expert guidance on the challenges confronting creators in accessing their earnings.
His presentation will focus on common mistakes and omissions that prevent creators from receiving payments, proven strategies for remaining compliant with global platform policies, and the legal, technical and professional remedies available when revenues become stuck or unpaid.
Participants will also be introduced to 7AI-powered tools designed to help creators monitor earnings, identify discrepancies, audit revenue and streamline claims and disputes with digital platforms.
According to APPMEN, the conference will empower participants to identify revenue leaks, properly document claims, access appropriate dispute-resolution channels and deploy technology to strengthen their digital businesses.
The event is expected to attract content creators, influencers, skit makers, journalists, media proprietors and digital entrepreneurs from across Nigeria.
