In a rare show of unity and inclusiveness, the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has hosted an interfaith Iftar and Lent dinner for police officers at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The landmark gathering brought together officers from diverse religious backgrounds, fostering a spirit of mutual respect, shared values, and peaceful coexistence within the Force.

Described as a first-of-its-kind initiative at the Force Headquarters, the event underscored the commitment of the police leadership to strengthening unity across faith lines, especially during significant spiritual periods for both Muslims and Christians.
The interfaith dinner, held during the holy seasons of Ramadan and Lent, symbolised harmony within the ranks and reinforced the importance of tolerance and collective purpose in national service.
