To some self-acclaimed prophets, Pastors, Bishops and General Overseers, their God only wakes up on the 31st of December every year and blabber about things he isn't sure of, and goes back to sleep, only to wake up on the 31st December of the next year, to tell tales that are mostly lies, passed off as prophecies.
Do a review of the 'prophecies' of the last few years and you won't be shocked to realize that more than 90% turn out a complete lie, and the few that came to be, were mere analytical permutations passed off as prophecies. For instance, when a so-called prophet comes up with a 'prophecy' that Ibrahim Magu will be removed as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, he has simply crossed some dots on his graph with some information already in the public, and come up with that guess work, which will most likely come to pass. What may count as prophecy is when we are told with every accuracy, including dates, names and circumstances, that one fake prophet will be arrested by the authorities and charged for fraud. There is nothing prophetic about stating the obvious.
It is also curious that these prophets only prophesy about politics, politicians and celebrities, with hardly a word on the kingdom of God, which should be their major focus as Prophets of God. God would not bother Himself speaking about politics, when He had already told us that this system will weather off in no time. God knows that what matters most to the righteous is the coming of His kingdom, rather than the running of this Satanic world.
Today's 'prophets' are the worst blackmailers against God Almighty. They leave any sensible listener with no option but to think that the god that gives them these prophecies is either confused, powerless or false. But, those prophets, are prophets of Baal, and not prophets of the true God.
The prophecies we read in the Bible are never seasonal, rarely political and mostly true. Some times, these prophecies are about events that are still thousands of years away. Yet, they all come to pass.
These prophets of Baal fail to understand that God does not work with the human Lunar calendar, which they tie their prophecies around. God has His own Calendar, which these prophets seem not to know much about. God does not recognize that it is the end of 2019, because His own Calendar reads differently. When a so-called prophet comes up with the guesswork that there will be an air crash in 2020, that's not a 'prophecy', even if it eventually happens.
If you are an adherent of any of these End time prophets, just know that most of them are just bad pundits, hazarding guesses about issues, and not prophets spoken to by God Almighty. Do not blame it on God when most of their permutations fail to click. God is not the author of confusion. When God wants to speak, He will speak with certainty and His words will definitely come to pass.
Let's look forward to a great 2020 with hope and a clearer mind. Among all things, please avoid fake pastors and keep a clean conscience.
