Fugar American Foundation donates library text books to Etsako Central Local Government Area, Edo State in contribution to the attainment of the educational goals of the people of Etsako Central LGA of Edo State.
The presentation was made to the Council Chairman, Comrade John Osi Akhigbe at the Council Secretariat Fugar, Etsako Central Local Government Area, Edo State by Prince Dennis Abuda, President of Fugar American Foundation. The President said that the initiative was undertaken to consolidate the effort of the Council Chairman for what he has been doing so far adding that they all have agreed to partner with the Council in order to make Etsako Central the Local Government of Excellence.
He emphasized that reading helps to develop the brain, manpower for the economy and position the country in the leagues of nations. He commended the Council Chairman for improving the library in Fugar adding that they were motivated to support the Chairman's effort by donating books of value to library which will promote reading culture among the children in the LGA.
He also applauded the Council Chairman for his concern for the Primary Health Care in the Local Government adding that he took a tour by his self and is impressed that the Council Chairman is replicating what is obtainable abroad here which is evident by the purchase and installation of 4D scanning machine in the Local Government and other Surgery equipment. The Council Chairman has done what is noble in spite of the limited available resources, he said.
Prince Dennis requested for medical Mission support for the Local Government free treatment by presenting a letter of request to the Council Chairman.
In Acceptance the Council Chairman, Comrade John Osi Akhigbe, thanked the body for the initiative, and said that the Local Government has done their best to ensure the functioning of the library stressing that the contribution from Fugar American Foundation that will help in educating the good people of the LGA.
The Council Boss on behalf of the Local Government accepted their request for free medical treatment that will be sponsored by Fugar American Foundation in collaboration with the Local Government Area.
