In order to strengthen its work force and improve productivity in the education sector, the government of Cross Rivers State has employed no fewer than 76 N-Power volunteers serving in the State.

The National Social Investment Scheme (NSIP) made this known in an update on its Social media handle, Monday.
The Scheme commends the State government for this opportunity extended to the Volunteers
The update reads: "It has come to our notice that Cross River State SUBEB has employed 76 N-Power beneficiaries.
"Good job Cross River State and Congratulations to the beneficiaries."
The N-Power programme was established by the Federal Government with the aim of fostering productivity through skill development and valuable knowledge sharing and acquisition for economic growth and social development.
The Scheme is structured in a way that participants are trained in several fields that will be helpful for building a successful career and finding a job. It was set with the idea of diversifying the economy.
The Programme runs graduates and non-graduates packages that target the unemployed.
