The Executive Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar who is representing Nigeria at the world sesame Convention in Istanbul, the capital city of Turkey has Just delivered his speech to the world representatives.
Recall that Jigawa state has led the country in sesame seed production which motivated President Muhammadu Buhari nominate the Governor to represent the country at the Convention.
While speaking the Governor who was recognized as the Chairman Zero Oil Committee indicates more commitment in Sesame production in Nigeria and highlights more ways that the Government intervene in assisting the farmers at the grassroots level highlighting how the cluster farming model helped shape the production of sesame seed in Jigawa and the country at large.
Towards the end of his speech, he invited potential investors to come over to Jigawa state and explore more on Sesame seed value chain.
