The Jigawa State Coordinator of the Npower programme, Mallam Bala Usman Chamo has led the 27 Local Government Coordinators of the programme to the Jigawa State Government House to congratulate Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar on his re-election as governor of the state for second term.
In his speech, Bala Chamo expressed joy that the governor won the election following his massive development programmes across the nooks and crannies of the state.
He said on behalf of the NPower beneficiaries they were very happy for the massive victory the APC had in the election, and Governor Badaru's victory is victory for all the good people of Jigawa State as the result showed that all the Electorates across the three senatorial districts voted massively for the governor’s second term.
In his addresses, Governor Badaru thanked the good people of Jigawa State for having faith in him, saying that though he knew he did marvelously well in the first term, but he is poised to doing more than enough for Jigawa people in the coming administration which will open on May 29, 2019.
