The Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has urged youths to remain steadfast in their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and hold on to the party’s political ideology which was centred on moving the nation forward.
Governor Badaru stated this when he received hundreds of members of APC Stop Jagaliya who were formally PDP Stop Jagaliya who defected to the APC on the influence of the Candidate of the Jigawa Northwest Senatorial District Alhaji Danladi Abdullahi Sankara.
Governor Badaru added that Nigeria can not afford to go through the spate of looting and indecisive leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) era.
Our youths must remain focused and hold on to the political ideology of the APC which is targeted at empowering the citizens of the country.
Earlier in his address, the leader of the group Alhaji Umar Ndagi who were led to the Government House by their grand patron Alhaji Isah Gerawa said their decision to join the APC was largely informed to the defection of Sen. Danladi Sankara and their belief on the capabilities of both Governor Badaru and President Muhammadu Buhari in Jigawa State and Nigeria at large.
Umar Ndagi said they will continue to advocate for rancour free politics devoid of violence and usage of arms while seeking for more support for Governor Badaru and President Muhammadu Buhari.
