No fewer than four Beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s youth empowerment scheme, tagged NPower were on Wednesday dismissed by the management of the programme in a statement posted on its Twitter handle today.
According to the update, the Scheme explained that the affected Volunteers are
already in the employ of the federal government hence, defaulting on one of rules of engagement of the Scheme.
The update reads in part: “The following beneficiaries have been exited from the N-Power programme because they have existing jobs
“Itumo Sunday – Civil Servant at Ebonyi ADP
“Mba Cletus Nwosike – Civil Servant at Judiciary High Court, Ebonyi.
“Ogala Onyekachi Onwe – Civil Servant at CEB CSS Ekwashi
“Ogbaga Simon Nwalegu – Civil Servant Ministry of Water.
It would be recalled that the management of the Scheme had warned would be beneficiaries who are gainfully employed not to apply.
