The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially commenced the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms ahead of its ward, local government, State congresses and forthcoming national convention.
The announcement was contained in a public notice issued from the party’s national headquarters in Abuja and signed by its National Organising Secretary, Chinedu Idigo.
According to the party, the Expression of Interest Form is pegged at ₦2,000, while nomination fees vary across positions and are non-refundable.

At the ward level, aspirants for chairman are to pay ₦10,000, secretary ₦5,000, while other officers will pay ₦3,000 each. For local government positions, chairmanship forms cost ₦40,000, secretary ₦30,000, and other offices ₦10,000.
At the State level, the stakes rise significantly, with chairmanship forms fixed at ₦500,000, secretary ₦300,000, and other positions ₦50,000 each.
The party also set ₦10,000 as the nomination fee for national convention delegates, with each local government area entitled to one delegate.
ADC further stipulated that all aspirants must secure the required number of nominators, each of whom is expected to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦500.
The move signals the party’s formal kick-off of internal processes leading to its congresses and national convention, as it positions itself for upcoming political activities.
