Kano governor nominates Kwankwaso’s son, three others as commissioners

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has submitted a list of nominees for confirmation as Commissioners to the State Assembly, among whom is Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, the son of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the Presidential candidate of the NNPP.

The list presented to the State Assembly on Tuesday also includes three other nominees: Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, Usman Shehu Aliyu, and Abduljabbar Garko.

Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Jibril Falgore, confirmed the receipt of the executive list during plenary on Tuesday. He announced that the screening of the Commissioner nominees would commence early next week.

The nomination of Mustapha is expected to undergo thorough scrutiny by the State Assembly during the screening process.
