OAU Announces Date For Resumption Of Pre-Degree Students

 

The management of the obafemi awolowo university ile-ife center for distance learning (OAU-CDL) has fixes date for reopening of academic activities in it’s campus at Moro ,Osun state

The 2019/2020 set of predegree students have been asked to resume  on the 21st and 22nd of September, 2020.

Recall that the OAU-CDL management had shut down the campus following the order from NUC to close all university campuses in the country as a way to curb the spread of COVID-19

In a circular the Pre-Degree coordinator made available to OAUVOICES stated that the BCP combination students would resume first while other combinations should follow. The management also urged students to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols in order to curb spread of the disease on campus.

According to the statement;

BCP students are to resume on Monday, Sept 21 by 8:00am while other combinations on Tuesday, Sept 22 by 8:00am.

Students Should Please Take Note Of The Following;

•All returning students are to report in the school and not their respective hostels.

•Every student must obtain a clearance from the school before being allowed in the hostel

•Students should come with light loads
•Every student must come with personal face masks and hand sanitizers

Consequently, OAU VOICES learnt that the management has also released the academic calendar and timetable for the remaining academic activities of 2019/2020 session.

Students should therefore check the full time table below for thier various subject combinations as lectures begin soon

OAU pre-degree programme duration normally runs for two (2) contact periods both within nine (9) calendar months.

Usually, during the first contact period, a test and examination will be done which represent 50% while in the second contact a test and examination will also be done representing another 50%

At the end of the programme only candidate who scored at least 60% will be considered for admission into the prestigious Obafemi awolowo Universiity (OAU)

As the campus is planning to resume academic activities, students are advised to attend all classes and read thier class note very well, There are also Past Questions on each subject combinations. it’s important to practice as much as possible before your test or exam
