Governor Obaseki declares Friday 18 September as Public holiday

Ahead of the Edo 2020 gubernatorial election slated to hold on Saturday  this week, the Edo State government has declared Friday September, 18th as public holiday to enable electorates trave to their various constituencies and exercise their franschise.

This was made known in a Circular released by the Head of service on Thursday.

Already, The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the distribution of sensitive materials, ahead of Saturday’s Governorship election in the State.
