Coronavirus: Osun first lady takes palliatives to Atakunmosa LG

Wife of the Governor State of Osun and President IleriOluwa Development Initiatives Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has restated her commitment to continue to lead by an example on relief people of burden which they can be facing in nooks and crannies of the State during this lockdown and Ramadan period.

Mrs Oyetola stated this today at Eesinra Village in Atakumosa East local government and Temidire Community and Ayetoro a.k.a Reserved Community in Oriade local government during the continuous of house to house distribution of relief materials to the aged and vulnerable to cushion the pains of Covid-19 pandemic.
The wife of the Governor who was accompanied by the wife of Osun Deputy Governor Mrs Oyefunke Alabi ,wife of the Secretary to the State Government Mrs Bose Oyebamiji and wives of other political Office holders in the state stated that it is high time for everyone both young and old to use face mask, wash hand always and practice good hygiene.
The President Ilerioluwa Development Initiative stressed that the door to door items distribution was put in place to ensure that citizen of the state comply with the directive of social distancing and to also avoid Community transmission of the pandemic from one community to another and to also sensitize people on the effect of open defecation which normally result to diarrhoea, dysentery among other.
She also urged them all to always wear facemask and washing of the hands regularly which is meant to prevent the pandemic.
Speaking in response to the distribution of the relief materials, Chief Lasisi, Balogun of Eesinra and Mr Ibraheem Adebayo, on behalf of the beneficiaries of the palliative items appreciated the unexpected gift with joy and pray for the present administration for the kind gesture and pray for successful tenure in office of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
