Governor Banagana Umara Zulum of Borno state has on Monday morning Flagged Off the construction of the Custom Fly Over in Maiduguri the Borno state Capital.
According to the Zulum, the action symbolises hope for the people in the year 2020 and his administration's commitment will be rebuilding the state, in order to empower the people rebrand the economy, strengthen their resilience and return normalcy to the state and deliver all the electioneering promises to the people Inshaallah.
The Flyover, according to Governor Zulum, will be one of many projects to be implemented in the state in the year 2020. It's also am impetus for economic competitiveness, security and as well as quality of life.
The Flyover is expected to be be delivered within a period of eighthing months. The Post Office roundabout Flyover will be commenced by the end of year 2020 to early 2021. He Also assured of strict adherence to the quality of work and directed the Ministry of works to ensure compliance of the standard.
On rebuilding of the road network systems in the state, Governor Zulum mentioned that township roads Jiddari Polo, Mala, Kyariri Zannari Roads, Pulk -Ngoshe, Monguno and Biu as well as Askira and Ngala roads are to be constructed.
Also other roads that were mentioned by the governor include, Umarari-Ngarranam and Abujan Talakawa among others.
Governor Zulum was also very emphatic on making sure the work on the Maiduguri - Gamboru road, Maiduguri - Bama - Banki as well Damboa- Chibok - Mbalala roads.
