.... Inspects Moromoro Bypass Bridge
As Governor Banagana Umara Zulum Flagged off the commencement of the Custom Flyover, Borno Work Commissioner Embarked on Fastracting implemention Process.
The Hon Commissioner of Works, Borno state Arc. Yerima Saleh was on Wednesday morning at the operational center of the Eighteenth Engineering Company International limited, in order to supervise and ensure the meeting up of quality of work and standard of the project. The project is stipulated to be completed in the next 18 months.
Arch. Saleh expressed his happiness and appreciated the quality of equipment on ground.
"They've every mechanism and Man Power on ground to complete the work with quality and on time," He said.
The Commissioner also assured the Traders that government is doing everything possible to provide an altanative place for them to continue their trade. The commuters also are given assurance that they'll not suffer any hardship due to the construction work, as all measures are taken to minimize congestion.
The Head Engineer of the EEC took round the Commissioner and his ontourage and showed them the starting and ending point of the Flyover, as well as explained the technical and engineering aspect of the project.
Moreover, the Commissioner charged them to ensure compliance with the standard and stipulated time frame
The Moromoro bypass bridge which has reached 65 percent completion stage was also inspected by the commmisor which was shown round by the Chairman Borno state road maintaince agency Borno Engr. Sadu Abdulahi Auno
"The bridge will create another interlink between Kasuwan ashanu, custom market down to Dikwa road when completed." Said Engr. Auno
