Popular OAP, Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze has frequently aired strong views on sundry issues.
So it came as no surprise when the controversial radio host declared that organising crossover services to usher in the New Year is not only needless, it is also Unscriptural.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Freeze, who had also condemned the celebration of Christmas, said that religion in Nigeria is billed per second.
He wrote; “Looking very hard to find where crossover service was written, it must be there somewhere now. Another needless and unscriptural reason to turn their shrines into business centers, one more time, before first fruit month begins. Religion in Nigeria is billed per second.”
About a week ago, the OAP joined Pastor Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire Ministries in condemning the celebration of Christmas, saying that “the wrath of God will consume those practising this abomination.”
