At least 100 students have been expelled by the University of Abuja authorities for engaging in examination malpractice.
The institution’s Head of Information and University Relations, Dr Habib Yakoob, in a statement said the university’s Senate, after due diligence, approved the expulsion and rustication of the students.
A breakdown shows that 72 undergraduate and 28 postgraduate students were affected in the exercise.
The statement said five undergraduate students were rusticated for one academic session; three others rusticated for a semester, while three others had no case and were acquitted.
