A man in India who tried to eat 50 eggs to win a bet with his friend collapsed and died after eating 41.
Subhash Yadav, 42, went to the Bibiganj market in Jaunpur, India, with a friend to eat eggs when an argument broke out between the two and they decided to settle it with an egg eating challenge, as reported by Aproko people on Monday.
The bet involved eating 50 eggs with the winner getting 2,000 rupees ($37.16).
Yadav had reportedly eaten 41 eggs and had just started eating his 42nd egg when he suddenly collapsed and fell unconscious.
He was rushed to a district hospital before he was transferred to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences where he died hours later.
