A ravaging inferno caused by a fuel tanker has killed scores of people and destroyed properties worth millions of Nair in Onittsha, the commercial city of Anambra State.

The fire outbreak this blog learnt, occurred as a result of a truck loaded with petrol which exploded at Upper Iweka in the city.
Sources at the scene said that the Anambra State Police command has drafted its men to the scene for rescue operation.
