Edo State governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki has asked the Buhari led Federal Government to hand over the Benin/Auchi road construction to his administration for reconstruction.
Obaseki made this call while giving his speech at the 22nd convocation ceremony of the Ambrose Alli University, Edo State.
The governor who decried the deplorable condition of the road said it is only when FG allows the State Government take over its repair there would be any progress made.
At the event, the Niger state government donated N10 million to the school.
Africa's business mogul, Alhaji Dangote also promised to build hostel for the school.
The event witnessed the award of degrees to graduands.
