It was jubilation time for staff of the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Edo State as they trooped out in number to celebrate the release of kidnapped Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Sylvanus Okogbenin.

A source at the hospital told this blog on Wednesday that the CMD was released at the early hours of today.
Mr. Danmallam Mohammed, the State Commissioner of Police confirmed that Dr. Okogbenin was released unharmed.
