MTN office in the Bodija area of Ibadan, Oyo state has been set ablaze by an angry mob.
Earlier yesterday the office was shut down over the widespread attacks on Nigerians in South African Companies.
According to reports some protesters had attempted to destroy the office during the day(yesterday) the security operatives restricted the attack.
Unfortunately, some angry mob reportedly regrouped at night and set the office on fire.
Firefighters got to the scene after the havoc had already been done.
The violence against foreign nationals, including Nigerians, in South Africa had sparked a nationwide outrage.-HeartmatterwithwannieyB understands.
In Lagos, protesters targeted Shoprite at Jakande, Lagos axis and MTN office at Apapa, Lagos while other South Africa-owned businesses. Also in Akwa Ibom state Similar attack were also Recorded.
