As Muslims commence fasting in the month of Ramadan 1440 A.H, a leading socio-Political group in the state of Osun, the Osun Positive Force OPF has congratulated Muslims on the commencement of the noble month.
In a release on behalf of its leader, Dr Ajibola Basiru, the Senator-Elect for Osun Central Senatorial District, the Group charged Muslims to optimize the advantages of the holy month by engaging in good deeds and refraining from acts that can jeopardize their fast.
The State Secretary of OPF, Akeem Yusuff urges adherents of Islam to be kind to Muslims and non-Muslims and foster brotherly love among one another.
The OPF called for steadfast and continued success for the incumbent administration in the state of Osun, the Senator-Elect and President Muhammadu Buhari.
“We Thank Almighty Allah for sparing our lives till this moment. We appeal to everyone to be steadfast in prayers for our leaders.”
“The OPF wishes to call on Muslims to remain committed to the teachings of the prophet on their expected conduct throughout the month and imbibe the spirit of kindness and tolerance for themselves.”
“We wish everyone the best of the Holy month of Ramadan,” the statement concluded.
