A Catholic cleric, Rev father Martins Alokwe has charged Christian faithful especially adherents of the Catholic church to live a life worthy of emulation and of devotion to the work of Almighty God.
The Cleric made this admonition at a funeral service in St. Joseph Catholic church, Iviari as part of the activities marking the burial ceremony of late Lady Christiana Omosi Balogun at her country home in Ovao, Weppa, Etsako East local government area of Edo State on Saturday.
In his homily, entitled: "What Are You Doing With Your Life", the Cleric said life is a precious gift from God for a divine purpose to serve Him in Spirit and truth.
Quoting various Bible verses to support his view, Rev Alokwe urged Christians to always make positive impact in the lives of the downtrodden in their communities as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
"Because what we do now will speak for us before God Almighty." He added that believers should rejoice in the hope of resurrection as those who die in the Lord will resurrect to be with Christ.
Mr. Henry Tenebe, the brother of the diseased described Mrs Christiana Balogun as a lovely sister with upright disposition. He said the family will miss her love and uprightness.
Dr. Usman Idodo, a guest at the ceremony advised the children to remain united and in love to move the family forward.
