2019 civil service promotion: Lagos trains officers on development plan

Lagos State Civil Service Commission has announced that the mandatory training session on the Lagos State Development Plan (LSDP) for Management Staff and Directors in the State Public Service will hold on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th April 2019 respectively, at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Alausa Secretariat by 9.00am prompt.

A release by the Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Commission, Mr. Adeyemi Fashola, stated that the mandatory training is designed for officers on Grade Levels 13 to 16 and implored all Directors of Administration and Human Resources in the various Ministries, Departments and Agencies to mobilise eligible and concerned officers to attend the programme.

According to him, the training session will focus on the various aspects of the Lagos State Economic Development Plan with emphasis on the four Pillars - Economic Growth, Infrastructure Development, Social Development and Security as well as Sustainable Environment.

He said the development plan among other things, serves as an essential guide for developers to maintain stringent guidelines when working on projects across the State; it also ensures the evaluation of the progress made with the goals and objectives of the plan and also provides a template of reference anytime the need arises to seek international assistance.
