Radio stations have begun to pull Michael Jackson’s songs from their playlists.
It follows the premier of HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, which details explosive allegations of Jackson molesting two men when they were children.
Three major radio stations in Montreal, Canada, have confirmed they have stopped playing his songs.
A spokeswoman for the owner of the French-language stations CKOI and Rythme and the English-language The Beat said they pulled Jackson’s music Monday morning, according to The Canadian Press.
“We are attentive to listeners’ comments, and last night’s documentary created reactions,” Christine Dicaire, director of marketing and communications for Cogeco, said in a statement.
Radio stations in New Zealand have also dropped the late pop singer’s music.
