The Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has leads the APC delegation to Plateau State for the Gubernatorial Election taking place on Saturday 23rd March, and 2019.
The Plateau governorship election was, on March 11, declared inconclusive by the state returning officer, professor Richard Anande, where Governor Simon Lalong of the APC had scored 583,255, while Mr Jeremiah Useni of the PDP scored 548,336 votes, highlighting that none of the leading candidates met all the requirements of the law to win the election.
Governor Badaru will oversee and monitor the election and ensures that APC delivers in the rerun election.
