With the re-election of senator Francis Asekhamhe Alimikhena as Edo north senator and Pastor Johnson Egwakhide Oghuma for Etsako federal constituency, the senatorial district will witness social transformation.
The victory of the lawmakers came out of dint of hard work, commitment to infrastructural development and absolute loyalty to the party hierarchy without reservation, one can recalled the event before the party primary. This is an attestation that a patient dog eat the fattest bone.

With the victory at the polls there is high expectations across Edo north and Etsako in particular that the duo will benefit greatly when the 9th National Assembly is inaugurated with the APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole steering the affairs of the party. Since we have three APC senators from South/South region, Senator Alimikhena will surely be elevated above Deputy Whip of the Senate and his score card in the 8 Assembly as further demonstrated that the he deserved higher responsibility.

Pastor, Oghuma who is just barely two years in the Green chamber, an astute lawmaker with vast experience.  In just two years has over 9 bills to his credit and over 26 motions, an eloquent speaker.
One other advanta he has above others is that he is a product of Oshiomole's political dynasty haven't held the APC Reconciliation Committee Secretary.
Obama is among few politicians that you can trust with power, he is not power drunk, with this he may likely be favoured with a higher responsibility at the 9th Assembly

We are hopeful that the All Progressives Congress will not make the mistake in the composition of 8th Assembly, where an individual wanted to hand pick all the Pri vital Officers which cost the party control of the 8th Assembly. The party is expected to fashioout their opining formulas where the interes of the  six geo political zones will be adequately represented.
