The Chairman, Lagos Island Local Government Area, Mr. Tijani Adetoyese Olusi has presented 150 Joint Admission and Matriculation Examinations (JAMB) forms to students in the Lagos Island public secondary schools as part of efforts to support students from poor backgrounds.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Olusi urged the students to prepare adequately in order to excel in the forthcoming JAMB examination, stressing that excellent performance would encourage government and others to sponsor more students in the subsequent examinations.
He recalled that the results of sponsored students for the Year 2018 JAMB and G.C.E examinations were very encouraging, hoping that the candidates for thisyear’s examination would improve on those previous performances.
