Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu is on his way out of PDP over maltreatment The Eastern Telegraph has Learned. According to information available to us, the Deputy Senate President has been furious that he has been neglected by the party leadership who reneged on the agreement reached before the Presidential Primary Election.
Deputy Senate President is not happy that the Position of Vice Presidency was not given to him.
"We were surprised that the position of the vice presidency was not given to him. He was the Favorite before Obi was considered by Atiku. You may have heard that some forces opposed the Obi vice Candidacy, the truth is, some Forces still do oppose the Decision by Atiku. My only hope is that they resolve this issue before it's too late. The DSP is not just anyone our party can ignore. We really need him on board fully."
